Operations/ Departmental Manager Level 5 Standard
The Operations/ Departmental Manager Level 5 Apprenticeship is ideal for Apprentices who are at the start of their career and who wish to take their first steps into professional management. This apprenticeship is also great those who may already have developed practical experience but wish to develop their theoretical understanding of management skills.
What will the apprentice learn?
The Apprentice will learn about a range of areas such as operational management, finance, project management, building relationships, leading and managing people, decision making, management of self, responsibility and professionalism.
How does the apprenticeship delivery work?
The Apprentice will work towards a knowledge test, interview, portfolio assessment, project presentation, Q&A and professional discussion. With guidance and learning from Blue Sky’s Development Advisor, the Apprentice will compile a range of evidence. This includes assignments, professional discussions, presentations and observations to demonstrate skills, knowledge and company behaviours.
Qualification details:
Level 5 Operations/ Departmental Manager Skills, Knowledge & Behaviours- Level 5 Diploma for Leaders & Managers (optional)
- 20% Off the Job Training
- Functional Skills Maths & English (if not previously achieved)
- End Point Assessment
On completion, apprentices can register as full members with the Chartered Management Institute and/or the Institute of Leadership & Management, and those with 3 years’ of management experience can apply for Chartered Manager status through the CMI.
Duration:
21 – 24 months
