Operations/ Departmental Manager Level 5 Standard

We are already responding to employers demands by delivering the New Apprenticeship Standards for Management, enabling Apprentices to: Know it, Show it, Live it!

This Apprenticeship is ideal for operations/departmental managers who manage teams and/or projects. The Apprentice will wish to aspire to achieving operational goals and objectives to a high standard, as part of the delivery of the organisations strategy. They are accountable to a more senior manager or business owner. The Apprentice will gain knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to enhance your own organisational requirements. With excellent interpersonal skills they will work towards an End Point Assessment, in which they will showcase their knowledge, skills and self-awareness.

This is ideal for Apprentices who are at the start of their career and who wish to take their first steps into professional management, as well as those who may already have developed practical experience but who wish to develop their theoretical understanding of management skills.

On completion, apprentices can register as full members with the Chartered Management Institute and/or the Institute of Leadership & Management, and those with 3 years’ of management experience can apply for Chartered Manager status through the CMI.

The assessment approach will ensure that apprentices meet the skills, knowledge and behaviour outcomes as defined in the Standard.

Duration: 24 – 36 months

 

Management Level 5

This Apprenticeship is for developing your existing Senior Managers and Managers. Training and support is structured around your business, encompassing its needs and objectives. The Apprentice will use their new skills to contribute to growing your business and enhancing their own performance. The learning approach includes classroom learning. There are a range of methods to assess the Apprentice; these include professional discussion, observation, written work, exams and project work. Your staff will benefit from our experienced assessor’s flexible delivery and awareness of your training needs with regular contact and supporting visits. This is an excellent career path for your staff to develop skills in your business.

Qualification details:

  • Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Leadership & Management
  • Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Principles of Leadership & Management

Higher Apprenticeship
Duration: 18 – 24 months

 

Management Level 3

This Apprenticeship is for staff who manage a team and are responsible for performance, or for those middle managers who have a wider managerial role. This qualification can be delivered across all sectors with its blended learning for all staff encompassing your company’s goals and objectives. We can help develop leadership skills within your business; giving your managers the essential skills to develop a more motivated and productive workforce. Your staff will benefit from our experienced assessor’s flexible delivery and awareness of your training needs with regular contact and supporting visits. The Apprentice will be assessed by observation, professional discussion and using evidence of learning from within their workplace. This is an excellent career path for your staff to develop their skills in your business.

Qualification details:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Management
  • Functional Skills Maths, English & ICT (if not previously achieved)

Advanced Apprenticeship
Duration: 12 – 18 months

Progression: Management Level 5
