Jess’ Apprenticeship Journey

Hi, I’m Jess. I completed my NVQ Level 2 AND 3 in Business Administration with Blue Sky. These NVQ’s have been a massive part of me getting the roles in Business Admin that I’ve ever wanted to achieve.

I first started as an Apprentice at St James’ Clinic to gain my NVQ Level 2 – during this time I gained a role as an Administration Support at a Band 2 level which also aided my coursework whilst completing my NVQ. Once I had achieved my NVQ, this was a massive achievement for me. I was so proud of myself and couldn’t wait to take on the future challenges that awaited. This is when I made the decision to undertake my Level 3 as I knew that Band 3 and 4 roles mainly required an NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration.

I worked extremely hard during this time and I pushed myself during all my exams. When I achieved and passed all my exams, I couldn’t have been happier. Once I received my certificates, I applied to a Clinical Support Team Administrator at a Band 3 Level and got the job!! I’m climbing the ladder all thanks to my NVQ’s.
